Viola Davis (St. Matthews, 11 de agosto de 1965) é uma premiada atriz norte-americana, considerada uma das melhores de sua geração. Vencedora de dois Tony Award e um Emmy do Primetime, a atriz foi indicada ao Oscar de melhor atriz coadjuvante em 2009 por sua atuação no filme Doubt; no mesmo ano, atuou no filme Law Abiding Citizen. Em 2011, atuou como Aibileen Clark na adaptação cinematográfica do livro de Kathryn Stockett The Help pelo qual foi indicada ao Globo de Ouro de Melhor Atriz em filme dramático e ao Oscar de Melhor Atriz.
