Mario (Orestes Ojeda) was forced by his mother, Dona Paula (Carmen Enriquez), to marry Lorna (Nyl Cavestany) and end his intimate relationship with Sisa (Alma Moreno), a simple and poor girl pregnant with his child. Sisa gave birth to her child in the forest while being chased by Dona Paula’s armed men.
