An elderly collector, Agathon, leaves his servant Nikos a map of an area where an extremely rare ancient statue is buried. Nikos, in turn, wanting to mislead the members of a gang who are watching him closely, assigns a young couple of private detectives, Alekos and Danae, who are constantly arguing with each other, to bring him the statue.
